Channable API: connect Channable to your warehouse, accounts and stock
I connect Channable through the Channable API, with an API token per company. That only works with Channable's Order sync add-on and a connected marketplace. n8n has no built-in Channable node; there are community nodes, but I connect through the official API in n8n.

What you can do with the Channable API
- Marketplace orders from Channable to your warehouse, ERP or accounts
- Shipping status and tracking back to Channable and on to the marketplace
- Update stock per offer from your central stock
- Process returns from Channable in stock and accounts
- Report cancellations back to the marketplace
How the integration works
The owner of the Channable company creates an API token; that token belongs to the company and a new token invalidates the old one. Channable has no webhooks, so the integration fetches orders and returns at fixed intervals and sends shipping and cancellation updates back. Channable bundles those updates and sends them to the marketplace every fifteen minutes. The limit is two calls per second with a burst of a hundred; the integration stays within that.
Facts about the Channable API
Checked on 2 November 2026 against the official documentation. Limits, prices and versions change; the source is listed per row.
| Fact | What the documentation says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication | API token per company as a Bearer token; only the owner of the company can create it and a new token invalidates the previous one. Requires the Order sync add-on and a connected marketplace. | Channable: API v1 |
| Rate limits | Two calls per second with a burst of a hundred, per company. When exceeded, 429. | Channable: API v1 |
| Webhooks | Not in the documentation; you fetch orders and returns. Channable sends shipping and cancellation updates to the marketplace bundled every fifteen minutes. | Channable: API v1 |
| Test environment | A sandbox connection with mocked data, with test orders and test returns from the project settings. | Channable: API v1 |
| Version | API v1; the documentation has moved to api.channable.com/v1/docs. | Channable: API v1 |
| Objects | Orders (fetch, shipping and cancellation update), offers (stock, at most fifty per request), returns and carriers. | Channable: API v1 |
| API cost | The API itself is part of the Order sync add-on; the price per order connection is not in the public documentation. | Channable: API v1 |
| n8n | No built-in node; community nodes on npm (latest July 2026). I connect through the API with an HTTP step. | n8n documentation |
What you need on your side
- Channable's Order sync add-on and at least one connected marketplace
- The owner of the Channable company, because only they can create an API token
- One leading source for orders: Channable or a direct marketplace integration, not both
- Access to the warehouse, ERP or accounts on the other side
Where it often goes wrong, and how I prevent it
- No webhooks: Channable reports nothing by itself. The integration therefore checks at fixed intervals and keeps track of which orders have already been processed.
- Delay to the marketplace: a shipping update only goes from Channable to the marketplace every fifteen minutes. Allow for that in delivery promises.
- Token renewed: a new token invalidates all old ones. The integration notifies you on a 401, so you know the token has to be replaced.
- Stock in batches: Channable accepts at most fifty offers per stock update. The integration splits larger lists.
In practice
A Channable integration is not yet listed as In production with me. What does run with me are bol.com pipelines for orders and stock; with Channable in between, only who talks to the marketplace changes. I avoid duplicate routes: either Channable leads for orders, or the direct integration.
What it costs
I build a Channable integration as one scoped process for a fixed price, from €750. Maintenance and monitoring are a monthly fee: n8n management from €250 per month, server management €145 per server. Channable's add-on comes on top; we check that price up front. All prices and what is included →
What I do not do
- I do not build duplicate routes: either Channable leads for marketplace orders, or the direct integration.
- I do not manage your feeds and offers in Channable; I connect orders, stock and returns.
- I do not promise a faster shipping update on the marketplace than Channable's fifteen-minute rhythm.
Frequently asked questions about the Channable API
Does n8n have a Channable node?
Not built in. There are community nodes on npm (the latest from July 2026), but I connect through the official API with an HTTP step in n8n.
What do I need at Channable for an integration?
The Order sync add-on, a connected marketplace and an API token that only the owner of the company can create. The add-on has its own price per order connection; it is not in the documentation and we check it up front.
Does Channable have webhooks?
Not according to the documentation. The integration therefore fetches orders and returns at fixed intervals and keeps track of what has already been processed.
How quickly is a shipping update on the marketplace?
Channable bundles shipping and cancellation updates and forwards them to the marketplace every fifteen minutes. The integration reports to Channable immediately; the last step is up to Channable.
Can I test without real orders?
Yes. Channable has a sandbox connection with mocked data that lets you create test orders and test returns. I build against that before the integration touches your real orders.
