About AIAgentCycle
I make recurring work lighter, and make sure your team comes along
I am Stefan de Graaf, an n8n developer and process automation consultant. I automate processes in small and mid-sized businesses and support the people who will work with them. You talk to the person who calculates, designs, builds and then maintains your process.

The story
From server to integration, and the people who use it
I have been building production automations and web shops since 2021, from server to integration. In my own businesses and for clients, more than 300 automations now run in production, including integrations with Exact Online and Zoho, bol.com processes, AI knowledge bases and chatbots. All self-hosted.
For years I worked with people who knew exactly what they needed to do. Hardly anyone did it. I bring that into every automation. Building a process is half the work. The other half is making sure people actually start working differently because of it. That is where my background as an NLP trainer comes in.
I build smaller projects myself. For larger projects I hire freelancers: I divide the work, direct it and check what is delivered. For the architecture of Holos33, for example, I worked with a freelance architect, and a cybersecurity specialist reviewed the security. I remain your point of contact.
This site is part of the evidence too. The assessment you go through runs on the Audit Desk I built, and AI assistants read the site through its own MCP server.
What I stand for
Mission and vision
Mission
My goal is that a process in your business runs measurably better: you spend less time on it, or fewer things go wrong. Up front we agree what needs to improve and how we measure it; afterwards I measure it again. Whether it works also depends on your data, your systems and your team. If a process is not worth automating, I say so.
Vision
I see businesses where systems do the recurring work and people spend their time on customers, on each other and on decisions that matter. A system works for people: it does what was agreed and shows what it did.

What I built
Client work and own systems, each with an honest label.
External client case · maintained since September 2026
WooCommerce and Exact Online, with customer group pricing
For web agency Mercabilis: 14 workflows on a dedicated server with Cloudflare in front. Orders go to Exact, products and prices go back to the shop, and every exception triggers an alert in plain language.
Own product · final test phase
Holos33: app, admin and CMS on one own API
278 API endpoints, an AI gateway to an open model on its own server, and privacy you can see in the screens.
Own build · running in simulation
BH28: an autonomous system with a risk gate
32 n8n workflows around a Python core. ChatGPT and Claude help with review and analysis, but an order only passes through the fixed checks.
Own build · in use
The Audit Desk behind the free assessment
Every assessment request becomes a file with intake, evidence, opportunities and report in one place. A number without a source does not go in.
What clients say
In their own words
-
We build the web shop, but an integration with Exact is not our line of work. Our client works with separate prices for resellers, and that is where you get stuck with standard modules.
Stefan built the integration between WooCommerce and Exact: whoever logs in sees their own price, and Exact remains the only place where a price changes. He also maintains the server the integration runs on, with maintenance every month. If something goes wrong, I get an email I can simply read. With Cloudflare in front of it, the security is in good shape.
I can make my client a promise with peace of mind.

I want to understand how something fits together before I say yes. With Stefan, that conversation is possible. He knows what he is talking about, explains why he builds something the way he does and looks at how we work.
And then he comes up with just the piece I had not thought of myself. When I send a question, I get an answer quickly.

When it comes to our systems, Stefan is my sparring partner. How it should fit together and what is really needed. He first looks at how we work and finds the solution to match.
I keep control of my business myself and still have someone beside me who keeps the overview. A pleasant collaboration.

How I work
Four rules I hold on to
Value first, then a price
First you get something you can use straight away: an assessment with a report that is yours, even if you do not continue. That way you decide on your own figures, at your own pace and without pressure.
Measuring what it delivers
Up front we record together what needs to improve: fewer hours, fewer errors or faster follow-up. What we record, I measure again afterwards. I call an estimate an estimate.
Advice that protects your budget
If automating delivers less than it costs, my advice says so. That way your time and money only go to what does pay off.
You stay in control
For each service I record which data goes where and why. Accounts are in your name and your workflows can be exported, so you can carry on yourself or switch.
Training and coaching
A new process only works when your team uses it
Training for your team
In a half-day session I show your staff what changes in their work, what stays theirs and how they can see for themselves where time leaks away.
Coaching for owners and managers
When ways of working change, your role changes with them. I coach on what you automate, how you bring along people who hesitate and how a new way of working sticks.

Frequently asked questions
Working with a freelance n8n developer
Do you work alone?
I build smaller projects myself, and you always talk to me. For larger projects I hire freelancers, for example for architecture or security. Then I divide the work, direct it and check what is delivered. If a freelancer gets access to your data, I agree that with you in advance.
Where are you based, and do you work remotely?
AIAgentCycle is based in Oosterwolde, the Netherlands (KvK 95865101). Most of the work is done remotely: the assessment and the conversations online, the build on your server or mine.
What if you fall ill or stop?
The workflows run in your environment, can be exported and are documented. Another builder or your own administrator can take them over with the agreed documentation, without starting again.
